| Description: | ESQC-STM image calculation of a single methylterrylene kartal escort molecule adsorbed on two monolayers of NaCl(100) deposited on Cu(111) surface. The thin insulating film allows the decoupling of the electronic structure of the molecule from the metallic substrate. The structure of molecular orbitals can then be well resolved. |
