The Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) ?Towards a Bright Future for Europe? has been edited in 2006. It was jointly developed and adopted by the members of Photonics21 between December 2005 and March 2006. A new edition of the SRA is planned for the beginning of 2010.
The SRA gives a detailed overview of all economic fields in Europe where photonics is used either as a major factor or as a single component of a product. The major research priorities of the most relevant fields of application are figured out and the most important objectives for the economic growth are defined. (More info)
